What is the meaning of the term “God”?
God means the power, which can control the mind. Whereas the same mind can control God, when that mind contemplates or meditates on that controlling power.
Why physical forms for Gods?
Maharishi (Saints and Sages) with their extra sensory perceptions saw the Gods as light forms in Maha Vyoma. These light forms have their respective characteristics, nature. They appear in specific shapes, when they perceived from Energy domain. Maharshi’s gave those shapes in physical level as idols with specific measurements. All these forms and their descriptions were discussed in Silpa Sastra.
Maharishis also explained Dhyana and rituals to worship those respective gods. And they also gave particulars of flowers, leaves and fruits, which are to be used for each God in Silpa Sastra.
When a practitioner performs the rituals and Dhyana as mentioned above, receives higher energy from Gods in Maha Vyoma through that particular God idol. This way of worshiping is mostly for the practitioners who need to develop concentration.
Highly developed individuals can concentrate and receive the higher energies directly from that god of Maha Vyoma. Such people with will power and determination receive higher energy and retain such energies themselves. They eventually become Gods.
Why So Many Gods?
The human spine contains 330 millions of consciousness. Each Consciousness is related to a God. Hence, there are 330 millions of Gods. These Gods wander in Maha Vyoma, which have an effect on one’s state of mind. There are 510 millions of consciousness in Subconscious and Supra conscious states. So, totally there are 840 millions of Gods.
