Silpa sastra
Silpa sastra, is the science of architecture and composition materialistic matters. And this Silpa Sastra includes construction of sites, towns and temples based on nature’s law. These laws are divine in origin because this Silpa Sastra constitutes one of the Vedagnags, the limbs of Veda. If we consider the veda as a wholed body, it has parts like, Sikha is nose, Vyakaran, grammar is face, Chandass is palms, Viruktamu is near,Jyotishya is eye and Silpa Sastra is hand. So this sastra is vedic in origin. In Silpa sastra, the branch that deals with godly idols is called as Stapati Sastra (Stapatya Sastra).
Stapati Sastra majorly deals with carving and making of idols to fulfill an inherent endeavor. From ancient times, saints postulated that constitutional matter of the whole and actual universe expanded into two forms, ethereal and corporeal. And they influence each other. Ethereal matter affects physical domain and the elemental composition and forms are influential on these intangible fields.
These Silpas acts like agents to receive energies from diving domains such as Mahavyoma on to the earth for human welfare.
